Alaska red sea cucumber (wild), salt

Cooking Instructions

Preparation Directions:

  • Wash off frozen Sea Cucumber with cool water.
  • With either scissors or knife extends the cut all the way on both ends. Rinse out.
  • Place in container covered well with freshwater in the refrigerator.
  • Change water every12 hours. For 2-4 days. Keep refrigerated. They will double or triple in size.
  • Rinse off thoroughly. Meat can be removed from skin at the time or left together and prepared separately
  • Place in a pot of water and simmer until desired tenderness. 2 to 3 hours.
  • If desired trim off  head section. Then it is ready to use either sliced in 1/2″ pieces
